Ariane Vanbellinghen

BACKGROUND
Ariane started in 2021 as PhD-Researcher within the Strategic Basic Research project HOUSE. Along with five other project members, she researches innovative living concepts for current and future older adults that positively influence their subjective well-being. In 2019, Ariane obtained her bachelor’s degree in Social Work. Given her interest in policy within the social sector she also obtained her master’s degree in Public Administration and Management. The subjects she addressed during her studies remain a major source of interest within her PhD: older adults in disadvantaged situation and recognising the heterogeneity among older adults.
